And next week I’ll be at the Sydney Boat Show helping out on the Torqeedo Australia stand. What a contrast. The boaties market is run by the local Volunteer Marine Rescue as a fund raiser to help them buy equipment for their rescue organisation. One of the founding partners of Torqeedo, Christoph Ballin, was visiting from Germany and helped out on the stand as well as dropped by to my new office at Newport. Christoph was enthusiastic about what I’m doing here and its interesting that this business is the world’s first dedicated Torqeedo shop. |
