5.5 kW inboard electric drive

An inboard electric power solution from Propulsion Marine suitable for powering a yacht around 30ft. As a rule of thumb this system can replace a diesel of 15 to 25 HP. Motor is an aircooled permanent magnet three phase AC brushless motor. It requires a 48v battery pack. Power is delivered through a high efficiency Browning gearbox with a range of reductions available to match the propeller and hull power curves. High efficiency controller with Canbus and integrated system display showing all pertinent operating data.
